    Hi Csaba,

Will you be going to the SEAC 2012 conference (Societe Europeenne pour L’Astronomie dans la Culture) in Ljubljana, Slovenia, this September?

    • Hi George,

Unfortunately I heard only now about the conference…it would be a great chance to go there. Hope than in next year.

Will be presenting a paper at SEAC 2012 in Ljubljana: Plato’s Cosmic X – Celestial Gates at the Heavenly Crossroads.

Should have ramifications in Mithraic studies, as it calls into question Proclus, and his followers Cornford, Bury, Ulansey, Beck, etc.

By the way, you could come down to Ljubljana for a day or two.

I’d be be glad to pay for your conference fees, etc.

Some Hungarians will be giving a talk also:
    B. Lukács, I. Szűcs-Csillik, and A. Szabó – Sulgi’s eclipse

And Emilia Pasztor is the Secretary of SEAC.

Also, not a bad job at the Olympics.
